Britney Spears and the Monarch Project: UPDATED again

I wasn't planning on posting anything else about occult symbolism in the media, but my first post on the subject keeps getting a lot of hits so here is a quick link to Vigilant Citizen's latest article for now. There are others on his site that either come off as inaccurate or way too holier-than-though for my taste (haven't even started with the recent Lady Gaga one as I know it will make me roll my eyes), but VC's latest on Britney is, for the most part, a sane and responsible take on the Monarch Project, a subject that is often treated with unchecked speculation. I've always considered Britney to be an extreme example of unscrupulous media manipulation since even the tabloids admit she really isn't even allowed to make her own decisions, on account of her father's conservatorship which grants him decision-making ability over all of her legal affairs. There have been photos of her manager boyfriend beating her, she was barred from seeing her children until she took brain-damaging psych meds, and then of course, when Britney was 16 her manager dad arranged videos where she sang "Hit me baby one more time". Anyone with their head screwed on straight can see that something is not right here. And then if you throw in all the occult symbolism used in her public image, of which much has been written elsewhere, it all begins to add up to a very unsettling picture pointing to the involvement of organized Freemasonry or other well-connected occult groups.

Vigilant's latest is particularly disturbing because he has dug up evidence of both electroshock and amnesiac barriers, the memory loss of multiple personality disorder, in Britney's recent past. What he doesn't take on is the way that Britney's fundamentalist Christian handlers have, with the help of the court system, justified literally running her life by citing the head-shaving incident and all the different men she's dated. Fundamentalist values, in particular the enforcement of traditional gender presentation, along with notions about her "out of control" promiscuity, were the basis of the reasoning behind her complete loss of autonomy and basic human rights. It should come as no surprise that Vigilant Citizen is reluctant to mention these particular values because his fan base is primarily made up of evangelical Christians who see the Monarch Project as a method to usher in the Satanic New World Order. VC himself has also defended religious fundamentalists of both Christian and Muslim varieties, even going so far as to state that female genital mutilation is a valid cultural tradition, the criticism of which is a form of "hate speech". So, as always, keep a clear mind about what you read on the internet, because history has shown that so often those who claim to stand against tyranny merely reestablish a new form of tyranny all their own.

It is important to understand that one of the purposes of the Monarch Project was to standardize forcible and/or coercive psychiatric drugging as a method of social control, particularly within the prison industry, state-run rehab programs and the foster care system. Trauma-based mind control experiments perfected techniques designed to fracture the personality, and these techniques were then used to condition society as a whole. See The Shock Doctrine for a detailed analysis of how trauma-based mind control methods derived from the classified MK Ultra project have been used to establish right wing fiscal policies against the collective will of dissident populations. For some reason there really isn't too much of a focus on these issues coming from all the people researching the history of trauma-based mind control and its employment on celebrities. Hmm. I wonder why. At any rate, let's hope that some of this information will reach Britney so she can take step towards both recovery and the removal of her children from the destructive and dangerous environment they're in. Petitioning the court to get the conservatorship removed would be the logical first step.

When Britney's life went into a flat spin two years ago, the tabloid knives came out, not just for her, but also for 'stage mom' Lynne.

Anytime anything goes wrong with a child (even a grown-up child) bad mothering is an instant blame button and Britney's hard-drinking, head-shaving, fanny-flashing antics were taken as classic delayed teenage rebellion.

The tabloid press had a field day when Britney served her mother with a restraining order in 2007. Obviously it was Lynne's 'pushiness' that finally sent Britney to the brink. After Britney was twice-sectioned in early 2008, the courts made dad Jamie her conservator and Lynne, once a constant presence at Britney's side, pretty much vanished from the scene.

Jamie's absolute control over Britney's finances, property, business ventures and person (she reportedly isn't even allowed phone calls without his permission) has been widely lauded as a very good thing. "Too bad he didn't step in years ago when Lynne was in charge. Britney might not have been this much of a mess!" is a typical fan-site comment.

The minor matter of Britney's human rights, or rather her total lack thereof, is accepted on the basis that the conservatorship is 'working' and that she is 'stable'. The courts said as much when they made the situation permanent in late 2008, meaning unless Britney - who isn't allowed to hire her own lawyer - is able to challenge it, Jamie will be her legal guardian until he dies.

This ties up the loose ends in a neat, patriarchy-approved package. According to the script, Britney is a flighty, irresponsible female who cracked under the strain of overzealous mothering. Luckily dear old dad, a big, silent, crumple-faced man whose only previous public role was standing at the back of the occasional family photo-op looking awkward, has done what any good paterfamilias would and stepped in to set things straight.

This has a nice ring to it, and it saves fans and the media from having to engage with any of the uncomfortable truths underlying the myth of Britney's ascent from small-town talent show contestant to world's most powerful celebrity. Like fact that, until he sought rehab in 2004, he was severely alcoholic.

Not, according to Lynne's accounts, just a man who sometimes had a few too many on a Saturday night but a full-blown, not turning up at work, not paying the bills, disappearing for weekends, oh-my-god-what's-he-going-to-do-next alcoholic. His brother William has told the press: "Just about everyone in the Spears family is a drunk and Britney's dad Jamie was one of the worst. He would drink from daylight to night. Britney saw him drunk all the time....In Sean Smith's unauthorised biography, Britney's high school boyfriend recalls him pulling a gun on a relative during a drunken argument. A Daily Mail journalist tells how he refused to let her leave his house after an interview and kept stabbing the kitchen table with a carving knife."

Lynne, in her book, Through The Storm, writes that he was "reckless, sometimes mean, and absent from his family physically and emotionally... Looking back, I'm almost positive staying with Jamie was not the right thing to do for the kids. Our children saw far too many knock-down, drag-out fights between their mama and daddy."

...Jamie Spears and his co-conspirators – the courts and the media – have her locked up tight. Her press time is closely supervised (when Rolling Stone interviewed her recently the journalist had her questions strictly vetted and wasn't allowed to be alone with Britney) and of course she's not allowed her own lawyer. ..She has no choice to but to get up, go to work and keep her mouth shut. The one time Britney's had a chance to speak (in MTV documentary For The Record) she said: "I have really good days, and then I have bad days. Even when you go to jail you know there's the time when you're gonna get out. But in this situation, it's never ending." Hardly the sentiments of a girl delighted to be back under her father's watchful eye. But hey, who cares how Britney feels? She looks good, she's back onstage and everybody's getting paid. Better for a woman to be stripped of her rights than to have her running around stripped of her tights.

Is Jamie Spears ready to give his little girl away again? It's hard to say.

Because Britney Spears has been in a conservatorship since her almost career-ending meltdown in 2008, Jason Trawick is legally bound to ask her father—who holds the keys to the castle—for permission to marry Britney, family law expert Lisa Helfend Meyer tells E! News.

And what if Jamie says (or said) no? Does Trawick whisk Britney away on the back of his motorcycle, like in the "Criminal" video?

"If he doesn't consent, then her marriage would not be legal," Meyer said. "It's very restrictive. It's not like you are marrying an adult." Biologically, of course, Britney's a 30-year-old adult. But Jamie is the one who makes financial, medical and career decisions on her behalf. She has even been excused from giving depositions in various legal matters over the years because the judge overseeing her case has agreed with Britney's conservators (Jamie and attorney Andrew Wallet) that she's not competent to testify. But so long as Britney's conservatorship remains, if there's a prenuptial agreement, Trawick will be entering into it with Jamie, Meyer says. And Britney could very well need her father's permission to rent a venue, purchase a wedding dress, pick out flowers, etc.—especially considering all of those things are likely to cost a pretty penny.

Conspiratainment as Controlled Opposition

The following quotes are all taken from recent discussions over at the Secretsun Facebook page regarding Monarch Project researchers and all the fundamentalist baggage they usually bring with them. I may have a few disagreements with the views of the Sun's host, but at the same time am wholly understanding of the tendency to believe that the Monarch Project is the hoax of religious fanatics given the paranoid vitriol that characterizes so much of the discussion surrounding it. There are some very necessary points made at the site and, really, it's pretty sad when I have more values in common with people who don't even believe the project exists than many of those who are supposed to be exposing it. There are exceptions out there, however, such as much of the staff at the SMART ritual abuse site, so I haven't lost hope that people with compassion and emotional maturity can step up to do the necessary work of exposure and unbiased research, as well as providing help for the people who've been through the program.

The reason why I'm uncomfortable with the Monarch programming stuff is not because I consider the possibility of it being true, but the people who write or talk about it (Viggy) say that the person in question is a victim, yet they seem to have little regard for these victims... What seems most distressing is that the victims are somebody's child, friend, parent, fellow human being, but the conspiritainment crowd views them as tools to usher in Judgement Day. some of these people are filled with gleeful contempt for the people they claim to be mind-controlled sex slave assassins (or whatever the hell it is) and don't seem to realize or care that if this scenario were true the people in question would be victims of some of the most horrible crimes imaginable. if someone has been raped and abused and fed drugs since childhood (not that i think this conspiracy theory is actually true) they're not your enemy and you shouldn't talk about them like they are. The thing is is that you have people throwing out this Monarch stuff, the audience is told there is nothing they can do, then you have this Fundamentalism being thrown on all of it. Those are ingredients that could lead to tragedy.....The question is how it gets into the media. I'd argue quite forcefully it gets there because kick-hungry designers and producers read the same conspiracy books everyone else does and put those symbols into their work as a provocation. And judging by the enormous industry of people "exposing" it all, it's been incredibly successful. The gatekeepers not only tolerate it- they encourage it. Which is why the Fortune 500 can't fill Vigilant Citizen's wallet fast enough and why YouTube gleefully yanks videos all day on copyright grounds but leaves the infringement-happy "Illuminati exposes" up for perpetuity....There are essentially two kinds of writing about MK-historical writing that exposes an often ridiculous program yet disturbingly ignores the fruition of the MK agenda in Evangelicalism and Pentecostalism. And the sinister and risible disinfo that actually advances the MK agenda by serving up irrelevant scapegoats, reinforces the fascist political underpinnings of the program and pushes the sheep back into the fold, where their children can be abused and even murdered with relative impunity."

American Citizens Can Be Arrested As Terrorists And Held Indefinitely Without Trial

source: The Guardian

Barack Obama has abandoned a commitment to veto a new security law that allows the military to indefinitely detain without trial American terrorism suspects arrested on US soil who could then be shipped to Guantánamo Bay.

Human rights groups accused the president of deserting his principles and disregarding the long-established principle that the military is not used in domestic policing. The legislation has also been strongly criticised by libertarians on the right angered at the stripping of individual rights for the duration of "a war that appears to have no end".

The law, contained in the defence authorisation bill that funds the US military, effectively extends the battlefield in the "war on terror" to the US and applies the established principle that combatants in any war are subject to military detention.

The legislation's supporters in Congress say it simply codifies existing practice, such as the indefinite detention of alleged terrorists at Guantánamo Bay. But the law's critics describe it as a draconian piece of legislation that extends the reach of detention without trial to include US citizens arrested in their own country.

"It's something so radical that it would have been considered crazy had it been pushed by the Bush administration," said Tom Malinowski of Human Rights Watch. "It establishes precisely the kind of system that the United States has consistently urged other countries not to adopt. At a time when the United States is urging Egypt, for example, to scrap its emergency law and military courts, this is not consistent." more:

Goatcraft Demo

Upon hearing the opening bars of the following song from the Goatcraft demo, I fully anticipated the standard formulaic synth-driven haunted house soundtrack that comprises so much of the dark ambient subgenre. What emerged was something very different: complex, evocative neoclassical piano compositions reminiscent of some of classical music's finest. For some insane reason, it is being sold for only $4 and limited to only 100 copies. Hopefully a proper release will be in short order. Purchases can be made at Pale Horse Recordings.
